6a : The effective educator adheres to the Code of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession of Florida.

Since it isn't really possible to take a picture or video of myself adhering to the Code of Ethics and Principles of Professional Conduct of the Education Profession of Florida, I have included a screenshot from the Florida Department of Education website that lays out this FEAP and what it entails. Once I am graduated and have been officially hired by Charlotte County, I will have to signed a Code of Ethics agreement. Until then, this is how I represent this FEAP. As an educator, we are help to a higher standard by others and must also hold ourselves to a higher standard as well. The way we portray ourselves in public, as well as in the classroom shouldn't differ too much. It is best to always be as professional as possible and keep in mind that someone may always be watching what I am doing or saying. We are the role models for these children, and must act as so. I have seen students from my own classroom as well as my CTs classroom out in public. I must always act, speak, and dress in an appropriate manner.
